What we collect

When you subscribe, we collect your email address, your first name if you choose to share it, the brands you follow, and your alert settings (discount threshold and deal types). If you submit a brand request, we store the brand name you typed. We do not collect ages, birthdays, payment details, or browsing history.

How we use it

Your email and settings exist for one purpose: sending you the sale alerts you asked for. If you checked the optional box for DeepCut news and offers, we may occasionally send those too — never more than the alerts themselves. Our emails may contain affiliate links, which means we can earn a commission when you shop a sale we alerted you to, at no cost to you. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Unsubscribing

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops all email immediately. You can also reply to any email to change your brands or thresholds.

Cookies and analytics

DeepCut uses one analytics tool — Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages are useful. It sets a first-party cookie and records a truncated (anonymized) IP address. We do not run advertising, remarketing, or ad-personalization tags, and Google Signals is off. Our emails also use link tracking so we can measure opens and clicks on the alerts you asked for.

Your consent choices

If you visit from the European Union, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, no analytics cookie is set and no analytics data is collected until you press Accept in the notice at the bottom of the screen. We use Google Consent Mode, which keeps analytics and advertising storage denied by default; pressing Decline keeps it denied and you can still use DeepCut fully. If you visit from the United States, analytics runs under implied consent, and you can opt out at any time using "Opt out of analytics" in the same notice. Your choice is stored locally in your browser — clear your browser storage and the notice appears again. Separately, subscribing to alerts is always an explicit double opt-in: you must click the confirmation link in the email before we send anything.

US state privacy rights

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of it, deletion of it, or a portable copy, and you may appeal a decision we make about such a request. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of analytics where applicable. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, email support@trydeepcut.com; we verify requests by replying to the email address on file and respond within 45 days.

Data deletion

Want your data gone entirely? Email us at support@trydeepcut.com and we will delete your subscriber record, follows, and requests within 7 business days.

Your rights (EU, UK, and everyone else)

If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, data protection law (GDPR) gives you specific rights — and we extend the same rights to all subscribers everywhere. You can ask us to: tell you what data we hold about you (access), correct it (rectification), delete it (erasure), hand it to you in a portable format (portability), stop using it for a particular purpose (objection), or restrict how we process it. Where we rely on your consent — such as the optional box for DeepCut news and offers — you can withdraw that consent at any time, and we will stop those emails without affecting your sale alerts. To exercise any of these rights, email support@trydeepcut.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK and believe we have mishandled your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Where your data lives

DeepCut is operated from the United States, and the services we use to store data and send email (our database and email providers) are US-based companies. If you subscribe from the EU or UK, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States. Our providers rely on recognized safeguards for such transfers, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We keep your data only as long as you remain subscribed, plus a short period to honor deletion and legal requirements.

Legal bases (for EU/UK subscribers)

We process your email and alert settings because you asked for the service (performance of a contract). We send optional news and offers only with your consent. We retain minimal records of consent and deletion requests to comply with legal obligations.

Who we are for

DeepCut is intended for users 18 and older.
